Hugo revisits Querétaro, one of his favorite cities in Mexico, and it felt only natural to feature it next in the series after San Miguel de Allende. Though located in different states, their close proximity makes them the perfect pair, two magical cities that complement each other beautifully in a single journey.
These paintings continue the series’ expressive style, where the artist moves beyond literal representation to evoke emotion and fleeting moments. Yet, with the distinct light, rhythm, and atmosphere of Querétaro, a new essence emerges, subtle, but unmistakably its own.
